About the role#
As an Undergraduate Analytics Intern, you will join the Services team to solve complex business problems using detailed data analysis. You will work on projects that involve building KPIs and dashboards to track performance. This role requires you to take ownership of tasks and deliver insights that help the business improve its operations and strategy.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to uncover opportunities for improvement in areas like operations, sales growth, and dispatch effectiveness.
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to predict outcomes.
- Build KPIs and dashboards to visualize business performance.
- Partner with internal and external sources to gather and examine data from different systems.
- Communicate your findings and recommendations clearly to business leaders.
- Drive tasks to completion independently while understanding the project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor program in Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
- Proficiency in data mining.
- Experience using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Knowledge or experience with tools such as Statistica, SAS, R, SPSS, Hadoop, Teradata, Python, Tableau, Business Objects, or C++.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work through ambiguous situations.
- Ability to collaborate with peers and work independently.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site in either Round Rock, Texas, or Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
- The internship follows a rolling term schedule.
