About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in buying, planning, product selection, and visual merchandising. You will work alongside our Buying, Planning, and Design teams to learn how merchandising decisions influence the customer experience and drive business results. You will also lead a summer-long project and present your findings to company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Buying team in analyzing sales trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities.
- Support seasonal buying trips, vendor meetings, and product reviews.
- Review sales performance reporting and evaluate new merchandise samples.
- Learn the product lifecycle from assortment planning to showroom execution.
- Collaborate with the Planning team to support inventory management and forecasting.
- Analyze historical sales and inventory data to identify replenishment opportunities.
- Gain exposure to assortment planning and product allocation strategies.
- Partner with the Design team to learn showroom planning and visual merchandising processes.
- Assist in creating visual displays and in-store presentations.
- Develop mood boards and trend inspiration materials to support product selection.
- Conduct competitor analysis and research industry and consumer trends.
- Participate in showroom walk-throughs and document merchandising opportunities.
- Assist with reports, presentations, vendor communication, and cross-functional projects.
What you'll need#
- Rising college junior or senior status.
- Pursuing a degree in Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to learning.
- Previous retail, design, merchandising, or customer service experience is a plus.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in East Taunton, Massachusetts.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
