Our Learning & Development team seeks a forward-thinking and enthusiastic senior or recent graduate to join our full-time paid internship program. This internship offers hands-on experience in instructional design, strategy, and communications, while contributing to impactful learning initiatives across the organization. This internship will sit in APCO's Washington, DC office. Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Learning and Development team in various functions including, but not limited to, global Client Business Management learning programs, research, and data analytics
- Support in planning and managing the calendar for all global learning programs
- Partner with the Learning and Development Lead to manage APCO’s global learning management system
- Provide support in the development of APCO’s Learning and Development internal communications
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, digital filing, contracts/POs, and invoices
- Participate in general research and analysis on special Learning Development projects, gaining hands-on experience in many aspects of Learning and Development
Qualifications:
- Recent college graduate or senior in class standing
- Major in human resource management, business or learning technology preferred
- Excellent communication/customer service skills
- Collaborative team player who also can work independently and be a self-starter, take initiative, and set priorities
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information at all times
- Strong attention to organizational and grammatical detail
- Experience with Microsoft products preferred, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams
- Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Available to work 40 hours per week
- Requires US Work Authorization, unable to consider candidates with CPT/OPT/Post-OPT status
What are the core working hours and will I need to be in an office? Our interns work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We are committed to a hybrid and flexible working environment, and there may be days that you wish to work from home and days that we come together so that you get to explore more of our culture and meet other colleagues. You will be provided with a company laptop so that you are able to work from home and in the office easily.
Compensation: This is a paid internship at a fixed hourly rate of $18.40 When does the internship commence? Our program begins on Tuesday, January 12th and ends on Friday, May 21st 2027.
