About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship for the summer of 2027. You will join our Furnish Your Future development program to learn the sales process within the furniture retail industry. You will work on-site at our showroom floor in Nashua, New Hampshire, while gaining exposure to various retail locations across New England.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the June Sales Training Cohort.
- Partner with experienced commissioned sales consultants and the management team to learn the sales process.
- Use a consultative approach to help customers find merchandise that fits their needs and budget.
- Develop deep product knowledge.
- Build relationships with both customers and your team.
- Lead a project detailing your summer discoveries and your sales production.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising college senior.
- Enrollment in a business management, business administration, or marketing degree program.
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills.
- An interest in sales and customer service.
- Prior customer service or retail sales experience is a plus.

- Location: Nashua, New Hampshire.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027, starting June 7th.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time, including some weekend shifts.
