About the role#
This co-op position supports the development and characterization of biologics and pharmaceutical formulations. You will work in a laboratory setting to gain hands-on experience in analytical testing and research. This role requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week for a six-month term starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct laboratory experiments focused on biologics and pharmaceutical formulation development.
- Perform analytical testing and characterization of biologic products, including monoclonal antibodies, fusion proteins, and antibody-drug conjugates.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret laboratory data.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintain accurate documentation of all experimental work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for team discussions.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your freshman year at an accredited university.
- Current enrollment in a Master's or PhD program in Biology, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work as a self-starter.
- Experience or familiarity with GLP, subcutaneous administration, and formulation development is preferred.
- Leadership experience through campus programs, student organizations, or community service.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
