About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering care to patients, managing pharmacy workflows, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will gain professional experience while helping our team improve access and quality of care for our patients.
What you'll do#
- Ensure patient safety and uphold high standards of pharmacy professional practice.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and daily workflow tasks.
- Support the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver positive health outcomes.
- Facilitate a culture of energy and pride within the pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach overhead, and stoop.
- Capacity to lift up to 20 lbs and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and precision.
- Close visual acuity for reading, transcribing, and visual inspection.

- Compensation: $20.75 - $25.25 per hour.
