About the role#
The Operations Co-Op provides technical support for assigned functions and processes at our Athens facility. You will work under the supervision of process engineers and management to analyze performance, implement improvements, and support the validation of products. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Perform analysis to measure process performance and implement improvements in cycle time, yield, and quality.
- Support the introduction and validation of new and existing products.
- Prepare reports to inform leadership of work in progress.
- Conduct development projects to provide improved procedures, equipment, or processes.
- Maintain and update production, safety, and regulatory documentation.
- Participate in problem-solving efforts to correct process and equipment issues.
- Support the coordination of small engineering projects.
- Assist in new equipment design, installation, and qualification.
- Execute cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects.
- Support investigations and root-cause analyses for non-conformances.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Completion of at least your freshman year at an accredited university.
- A minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for future sponsorship.
