About the role#
The Administrative Fellowship is a full-time, paid program designed to prepare emerging leaders for careers in healthcare administration. Fellows rotate through various departments, including clinical and hospital operations, strategy, business development, and financial analysis. You will work under the guidance of an executive preceptor who provides mentorship, project oversight, and regular feedback to support your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through diverse areas of the organization to gain a broad understanding of healthcare administration.
- Lead and execute specific projects and initiatives across various business units.
- Collaborate directly with executives and senior leadership teams.
- Report on project progress and participate in regular performance evaluations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to build core leadership competencies.
What you'll need#
- A Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field.
- Prior experience in hospital operations or a previous administrative internship.
- Basic knowledge of hospital operations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to define project objectives and manage resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for presenting to various stakeholders.
