About the role#
F. Schumacher & Co. is seeking a Hospitality Intern to support our Business Operations team in New York. This role focuses on the Hospitality and Contract sectors, assisting with sampling efforts, sales initiatives, and order processing. You will work on-site to help grow our brand presence and support the daily needs of our design consultants.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Design Consultant and Project Manager teams to support our clients.
- Process memo orders and project shops for the Hospitality team.
- Cut and label custom fabrics and wallcoverings for designer approval.
- Collaborate with the Project Management team on key initiatives and departmental growth tasks.
- Assist with general operations and logistics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university or a completed bachelor's degree with a competitive GPA.
- Strong interest in interior design, creative work, textiles, wallcoverings, and hospitality markets.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Competence in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Capacity to learn online software systems quickly.
