About the role#
We are looking for a student to join the food service team at Taylor University. This is an on-site, paid position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with food, utensils, and condiments.
- Serve guests in retail and dining areas.
- Follow service procedures like greeting guests and making eye contact.
- Keep workstations and equipment clean and sanitized.
- Multitask while working at a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally with team members and guests.
- Prior food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with supervisors, vendors, and clients.
