About the role#
We are looking for a Manufacturing Co-op to join our team in San Angelo, Texas for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site work. You will handle complex technical tasks related to the design, manufacture, and operation of systems and equipment.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for project planning, development, and implementation.
- Contribute to the development of engineering standards.
- Perform research investigations, process studies, and material testing.
- Prepare technical specifications and reports.
- Communicate business-related issues and opportunities to management.
- Ensure compliance with all company, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Follow all guidelines regarding health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Manage assignments with complex objectives that require investigating multiple variables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program in Mechanical, Chemical, Computer, or Civil Engineering, Logistics, or Chemistry.
- Current enrollment in a Master's program in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Operations.
- Ability to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An organized, analytical approach to solving problems.
- Understanding of cost management, product costs, and Design to Value concepts.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- Familiarity with equipment effectiveness and manufacturing maintenance concepts.
- Awareness of engineering analysis tools like statistical process control.
- Lean or Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.
