About the role#
As a GTO Engineering Coop, you will work within a department to execute projects focused on increasing process efficiency. You will aim to reduce cycle time and costs while improving the overall quality of execution. You will work under the guidance of a mentor to complete project tasks and contribute to the development of new methods.
What you'll do#
- Use project management methodologies like FPX and process excellence tools such as Lean/Six Sigma to improve assigned areas.
- Write and verify specifications and maintain product or process documentation.
- Test processes, equipment, raw materials, and products.
- Validate equipment and processes.
- Assist in creating concepts and designs for new products, processes, or test methods.
- Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate your results.
- Comply with environmental, safety, and occupational health policies including ISO14001 and OSHAS 18001.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an academic program throughout the internship period.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Authorization to work in the US without current or future sponsorship requirements.

- Location: San Angelo, Texas.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
