About the role#
Irving Tissue is looking for a Logistics and Supply Chain Co-op student for the Winter 2027 term. You will support daily supply chain and planning activities while working on projects to improve operational efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dieppe, New Brunswick.
What you'll do#
- Track and monitor inventory for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Support production planning to help meet customer demand.
- Analyze inventory levels to identify potential shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare reports and analyze supply chain data using spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, procurement, and customer service teams.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and material reconciliation.
- Participate in supply chain meetings to share insights from your data analysis.
- Ensure work complies with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related post-secondary program.
- Eligibility to participate in a co-op or work-integrated learning placement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
