About the role#
As a Logistics Administrator Student, you will gain exposure to various businesses within the J.D. Irving transportation sector. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects and participate in training sessions while supporting the day-to-day operations of the logistics division.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the daily transportation needs of customers.
- Obtain and enter market data to analyze against existing information.
- Work to improve the profitability of existing customer accounts.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to track rate updates and capacity fluctuations.
- Track and update sales requests according to specific customer requirements.
- Perform data entry and general administrative duties as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, specifically in Logistics.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented habits with a focus on follow-up.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to change.
