About the role#
The Operations Administrative Intern provides administrative and project coordination support to engineering, program management, and business operations teams. You will assist with documentation, reporting, and meeting coordination to support government and commercial contracts. This role offers hands-on exposure to defense contracting and mission-focused operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and coordination support to leaders, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prepare, review, and maintain reports, presentations, project documentation, and meeting minutes.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, action items, and deadlines.
- Maintain document repositories using Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other collaboration tools.
- Collect, organize, and summarize operational and project data for management reporting.
- Assist with special projects related to business development, capture activities, and customer engagement.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Location & details#
- This is a part-time, paid internship.
- The role is primarily remote, though occasional on-site attendance in Manassas, Virginia, may be required based on business needs.
