About the role#
The Commercial Marketplace team manages the system that connects site-level conditions to commercial action. We monitor marketplace health across sites, cohorts, and metros while balancing demand, capacity, and profitability. As an intern, you will use data to prepare readouts, test hypotheses, and support decisions across our Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams. You will learn how levers like pricing, promotions, and partner prioritization function within a real delivery network.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and build the playbook for marketplace levers such as pricing, promotions, and partner prioritization.
- Analyze site and cohort performance to identify where to prioritize resources and growth programs.
- Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to improve visibility into performance.
- Support daily and weekly site-level performance readouts across marketplace health and profitability metrics.
- Monitor aircraft availability, fulfillment throughput, and operational constraints to surface risks.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using spreadsheets or similar tools.
- Ability to investigate performance at different levels of detail and turn findings into recommendations.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in South San Francisco for the duration of the Spring 2027 internship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in South San Francisco, California.
- The term runs from January to April 2027.
- This position is paid at $40 per hour.
