About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to transportation management at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. You will work on-site in Aberdeen, Maryland, for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a part-time, paid position that requires a commitment of 20-25 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Learn the basics of transportation management principles.
- Participate in daily operational tasks, such as freight planning and logistics management.
- Assist with account-specific duties requested by customers.
- Monitor industry trends and company initiatives.
- Complete other related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- This position does not offer employment-based sponsorship.
