About the role#
As an Operations Intern, you will support our team in providing transportation and logistics services to customers. This role offers exposure to the fundamental principles of transportation management while you assist with daily operational tasks. You will gain insight into industry trends and company initiatives, specifically those related to driver retention.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Assist with driver payroll and supervision.
- Engage in logistics management, analysis, and profit-and-loss management.
- Coordinate maintenance tasks.
- Deliver customer value and perform account-specific duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Flexibility to work varying hours.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and directives.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16.90 - $24.50 per hour.
- Employment type: Part-time, paid.
