About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to transportation and logistics management. You will work under supervision to learn core operational principles and support our customer service efforts. This is a paid, part-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with customer transportation and logistics services.
- Participate in daily freight planning, asset utilization, and maintenance coordination.
- Help with safety management, DOT compliance, and driver payroll.
- Support driver supervision and profit-and-loss management tasks.
- Analyze logistics data and learn about industry trends, including driver retention initiatives.
- Perform account-specific duties and other assigned responsibilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, preferably in Supply Chain or Operations Management.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work hours.
