About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern at ITW Global Tire Repair, you will support New Product Development (NPD) initiatives. This role focuses on technical documentation, product research, and the continuous improvement of internal systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to gain hands-on experience across the product development lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and improve the technical library by auditing specification sheets and technical documents.
- Conduct competitive product research to support early-stage ideation.
- Assist in evaluating new product concepts, materials, and innovation opportunities.
- Identify and implement improvements to NPD systems and workflows, including updating training and education materials.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior status pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Location: San Luis Obispo, California.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22 to $28 per hour, depending on experience.
