About the role#
As a Process Engineer Intern at Hobart Brothers LLC, you will gain hands-on experience by working with engineering professionals. This role involves direct exposure to industrial processes and the chance to contribute to projects that impact our manufacturing operations. You will work alongside engineers, technicians, and machine operators to support our daily production goals.
What you'll do#
- Learn the kinematics of drawbenches and spoolers.
- Design components to improve machinery for safety and efficiency.
- Follow the production process from raw material to finished product.
- Research and run experiments to find the root cause of production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to live or commute to the Troy, Ohio area.
