About the role#
This internship provides practical experience across cybersecurity operations, security engineering, and program delivery. You will work within the Global Security department to support active initiatives in Offensive Security and Testing, Cloud Security and Engineering, and PMO delivery workstreams. This role offers exposure to technical security concepts and the organizational side of cyber programs.
What you'll do#
- Support cyber initiatives across Offensive Security and Testing, Cloud Security and Engineering, and PMO delivery workstreams.
- Gain exposure to vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, SaaS security, data protection, detection and response, and remediation tracking.
- Assist project managers and cyber teams with meeting notes, action items, decisions, risks, dependencies, and follow-ups.
- Help maintain project plans, status trackers, roadmaps, dashboards, and delivery materials.
- Assist with operating models, process flows, testing documentation, remediation plans, playbooks, and stakeholder-ready materials.
- Organize security metrics, project updates, risk information, and program data into clear summaries and reports.
- Identify opportunities to simplify project tracking and improve communication.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, Project Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in cybersecurity, security engineering, cyber operations, or program delivery.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take clear notes, summarize discussions, and track follow-up actions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Curiosity, a willingness to learn technical concepts, and the ability to ask thoughtful questions.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, Jira, ServiceNow, Power BI, Python, or data visualization tools is a plus.

- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Modality: This is an on-site position requiring at least four days each week in the office.
- Employment: Full-time paid internship.
