About the role#
As a Global Security intern, you will gain hands-on experience in how cybersecurity teams identify risk, strengthen controls, and manage initiatives across the enterprise. You will work across Offensive Security and Testing, Cloud Security and Engineering, and the PMO delivery space. This role provides exposure to both technical security concepts and the practical side of how cyber programs are planned, executed, and measured.
What you'll do#
- Support active cyber initiatives across Offensive Security and Testing, Cloud Security and Engineering, and PMO delivery workstreams.
- Gain exposure to vulnerability management, application security, cloud and SaaS security, data protection, detection and response, and remediation tracking.
- Assist project managers and cyber teams by taking meeting notes, tracking action items, and managing risks and dependencies.
- Maintain project plans, status trackers, roadmaps, dashboards, and other delivery materials.
- Help create operating models, process flows, testing documentation, playbooks, and stakeholder-ready materials.
- Organize security metrics, project updates, and risk information into clear reports.
- Identify ways to simplify project tracking and make cybersecurity information easier to understand.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, Project Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in cybersecurity, security engineering, cyber operations, or program delivery.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to summarize discussions, track follow-up actions, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Capability to work across multiple teams and balance competing priorities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, Jira, ServiceNow, Power BI, Python, or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Curiosity, a willingness to learn technical concepts, and the ability to ask thoughtful questions.
