About the role#
This is a 9-week, full-time summer internship based in Atlanta. You will join the Corporate Functions Data Office to support projects across Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Risk. This role focuses on data governance, data quality, and process improvement. Interns participate in orientation, networking events, and development workshops alongside their daily responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Maintain inventories of critical data elements, data owners, data stewards, and key business processes.
- Analyze datasets to identify issues with completeness, consistency, or accuracy.
- Create and update dashboards, trackers, and summary reports to monitor data governance progress.
- Document data definitions, business rules, lineage, and usage for key Corporate Function data.
- Research leading practices in data governance, data management, AI readiness, and regulatory expectations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation by summer 2028.
- Relevant coursework in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Demonstrated interest in data, analytics, data governance, or process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
