About the role#
The Workforce and Integration Intern will work closely with the Workforce and Integration Department to support employment services. This role provides hands-on experience in administrative operations, data management, and the recruitment process. Interns will assist employment specialists with daily tasks while gaining exposure to workforce management systems.
What you'll do#
- Work individually with clients to create, update, and review resumes, assist with job searches, and prepare for interviews.
- Support the Workforce team with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and database quality assurance.
- Reach out to potential employers to discuss job opportunities and maintain ongoing communication regarding job openings.
- Prepare paperwork and documents required for job applications, client profiles, and employer correspondence.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, or Sociology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Preference for candidates who are bilingual or multilingual in Spanish, French, Dari, Pashto, or Haitian Creole.

- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time internship.
- Schedule: Must be available during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
