About the role#
As a Full-Stack Developer Intern focused on route optimization, you will contribute to real projects that shape our logistics operations. You will gain hands-on experience by working directly on software solutions that support our delivery network.
What you'll do#
- Develop, test, and maintain route optimization software using Java and AWS.
- Translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code with comprehensive tests.
- Participate in agile scrum sprints and team ceremonies.
- Review code and provide feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance.
- Support the deployment of software updates.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders across Canada.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java.
- Knowledge of C# and Python.
- Strong understanding of data structures.
- Experience designing and implementing database structures.
- A logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with AWS or Azure is an asset.
