About the role#
As a Machine Learning Developer Intern, you will join a consulting team to build and deploy machine learning solutions for enterprise-scale problems. You will work alongside partners, data scientists, architects, and software engineers to deliver value for client engagements or internal initiatives. This role involves hands-on research and development to create software prototypes and demos.
What you'll do#
- Conceptualize, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions.
- Work with cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS, or Edge.
- Support project delivery teams in areas including AI, ML, automation, and LLM.
- Conduct research and development to build software demos and prototypes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a Computer Science or related post-secondary program.
- Must return to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Familiarity with machine learning, statistical analysis, or data mining.
- Experience with scripting languages, specifically Python.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools, such as LangChain or semantic kernel, and LLM concepts.
- Experience using machine learning or data engineering libraries like scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Pyspark.
- Familiarity with cloud application development and tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Ability to communicate ideas to peers and managers.
- Comfort working both independently and within a cross-functional team.
- At least one previous work term in machine learning, computer vision, or software engineering.
- For positions in Montreal, fluency in French is required.

- Locations: Toronto, Ontario or Montreal, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months starting in January 2027).
