About the role#
As a Technical Engineering Seller Intern, you will work with clients and technical experts to design and deliver solutions across AI, hybrid cloud, automation, data, and security. This role blends technical problem-solving with business consulting to help organizations achieve measurable outcomes. You will build a foundation for a career in technical sales while addressing real business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Participate in client discovery sessions to understand business objectives and technical requirements.
- Design and validate technical solution approaches that address specific customer challenges.
- Build and deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept, workshops, and technical presentations.
- Translate technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support customer adoption and success by helping clients define use cases and remove technical barriers.
- Collaborate with sales, technical specialists, and partners to progress opportunities.
- Contribute innovative ideas, reusable assets, and technical best practices to the team.
- Present technical findings and solution recommendations to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud computing, software development, AI, automation, data, or cybersecurity.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools to prototype, build, or troubleshoot applications.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Previous experience through internships, co-ops, research, projects, or extracurricular activities in technology or consulting.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, AI, cybersecurity, or modern application development.
- Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, athletics, volunteer work, or competitions.
