About the role#
This internship focuses on the IBM Infrastructure product portfolio. You will work within the Cost and Asset Optimization team to improve cash flow through Global Asset Recovery. You will apply data science, agile practices, and design thinking to support IBM brands.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams across product management, supply chain, procurement, development, engineering, and finance.
- Analyze market trends, industry standards, and competitors.
- Improve internal processes by using automation and AI tools.
- Work alongside cross-functional groups to optimize business operations.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Exposure to agile practices, design thinking, and cloud technology.
- Technical expertise and experience with process optimization using AI.
- Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Poughkeepsie, New York.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring you to be in the office three days per week.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
