About the role#
This internship is part of the Verizon Network and Technology team. You will work within the Fiber Engineering & Operations Transformation & Business Enablement group. The role focuses on supporting core business enablement and process evolution. You will join an active Agile scrum team to help optimize operations for the Tier 1 Repair Fiber Solution Center, Tier 2 Network Technicians, and Dispatch Operations.
What you'll do#
- Analyze customer friction and map journey events.
- Fine-tune agentic AI capabilities across support layers.
- Use tools such as GECX, GCP, Looker, ConvoIQ, and Tableau.
- Synthesize customer interaction transcripts and LLM performance logs.
- Drive backlog priorities and optimize our agentic network.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program, specifically Computer Science, with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Good academic standing.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks between June 2027 and August 2027.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel and relocate.
- Clear and persuasive communication skills.
- Experience with advanced predictive analytics and data architecture.
- Experience with Generative AI frameworks and tools like LangChain, AutoGPT, Google Gemini, and NotebookLM.
- Skills in complex problem solving, critical thinking, and project management within Agile or Scrum environments.
- A track record of driving cross-functional projects and rapid skill acquisition.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement of three days per week in the office.
