About the role#
Acuity, Inc. offers a 10 to 12 week internship program designed to build leadership skills through hands-on projects. As a Data Science and Business Analyst Intern, you will join the Digital Commerce Experience team to work on data analytics, process automation, and business strategy. You will connect with mentors and leaders across the company throughout your time here.
What you'll do#
- Assist with predictive modeling, machine learning, and building dashboards in Power BI.
- Analyze market trends, customer channels, segmentation, and competitive benchmarking.
- Manage structured and unstructured data, support pipelines, and maintain data integrity.
- Use Lean and AI tools to automate business processes.
- Explore technologies including Figma, Confluence, Miro, and Power Automate.
- Evaluate new tools to meet specific business needs.
- Partner with teams in sales, marketing, finance, and IT on cross-functional reporting.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Previous internship or project experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to solve problems and manage your time effectively.
- Experience leading teams or organizations.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize conflicting tasks.
- A 4-year college degree is preferred.
