About the role#
This is a 10-week paid summer internship program for students interested in AI/ML software development. You will work 40 hours per week alongside professionals to deliver solutions for clients. The program includes collaboration with a peer team to address business challenges, interaction with company leadership, and participation in a mentoring circle led by an early career champion.
What you'll do#
- Develop agentic solutions to answer business questions.
- Build standalone proxy services for front-end management of LLM implementations.
- Create and maintain scalable APIs and microservices.
- Measure and validate AI/ML model performance.
- Perform troubleshooting for model errors or bias.
- Engage in containerization, optimization, and workflow automation.
- Participate in professional development activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate, bachelor, or master degree program in computer science, IT, engineering, or another STEM field at a United States-based university.
- At least one semester of study remaining after the internship concludes.
- Basic understanding of data science concepts like data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and statistical methods.
- Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions clearly.
