About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program based in Bossier City, Louisiana. You will work full-time alongside professionals to support client projects. The program includes a mentoring circle led by an early career champion, opportunities to interact with company leaders, and various professional development sessions. You will also collaborate with a team of peers to research and propose solutions to a current business challenge.
What you'll do#
As an AI Network Engineering intern, you will work on projects that align with your interests. Your primary tasks include:
- Designing and prototyping agentic AI workflows that integrate data from monitoring and control platforms.
- Developing methods for aggregating telemetry, analyzing patterns, and correlating signals across tools.
- Producing concise daily reports that highlight key tasks and recommended next steps.
- Exploring ways AI can streamline routine diagnostics and pre-remediation activities.
- Building a proof-of-concept to demonstrate how intelligent agents support informed decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associate, bachelor, or master degree program in computer science, IT, engineering, or another STEM field at a United States-based college or university.
- At least one semester of study remaining after the internship concludes.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and AI/ML concepts, such as agentic workflows and LLMs.
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages used to integrate with APIs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Interest in data analytics, log ingestion, pattern detection, and network telemetry tools like SolarWinds, NetBrain, or ScienceLogic.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions clearly.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
