About the role#
As an AI Engineer (MLOps) Intern, you will join the Technology, Data, AI, and Ventures organization. You will focus on building, training, and deploying AI systems and infrastructure. This role emphasizes software development, scalability, and integration within production environments. You will work on projects that support our machine learning capabilities and help bring innovative solutions into production.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and optimize machine learning and Generative AI models.
- Refine models and develop intelligent applications and automation solutions.
- Design and test new patterns for model deployment using Python APIs.
- Improve MLOps and DevOps platforms using dashboards and monitoring tools like New Relic.
- Contribute to automation frameworks that ensure model reliability and performance at scale.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with APIs.
- Solid understanding of automated testing and DevOps tools, such as EKS, CI/CD, and New Relic.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 11-week program.

- Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week on-site.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
