About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within the Nelnet Campus Commerce team. You will contribute to projects that support our internal and external web-based applications. The role focuses on building technology products while gaining experience in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze, design, code, test, and maintain complex business systems.
- Participate in standup meetings and sprints to complete team goals.
- Collaborate with technology experts to evaluate technical tradeoffs.
- Learn new technologies and programming languages relevant to your team.
- Develop your skills in software testing and implementation.
- Attend professional, personal, and social development events designed for interns.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in computer science, software development, or an IT-related field.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology.
- Experience with .NET and Angular.
- Previous experience creating or deploying software through projects, research, or prior internships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in an agile development environment.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work through challenging requirements.
- A detail-oriented approach to creating a high-quality user experience.
