About the role#
As an intern at Nelnet Bank, you will support the Corporate Accounting team. You will gain experience in the culture and operations of a large company while working on various finance, accounting, and system-related tasks.
What you'll do#
- Handle finance, accounting, and system-related tasks.
- Provide customer service as assigned.
- Collaborate with employees and departments to finish work projects.
- Complete special projects as directed by management.
- Provide backup support to the team and handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting or Finance degree program.
- Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with computers, preferably Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and learn new processes.
- A strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude.
