About the role#
As an IBM Quantum Sales Intern, you will learn about the quantum computing ecosystem and how emerging technologies move into the market. You will support the identification, qualification, and execution of new business opportunities. This role involves working alongside sales and business leaders to help organizations evaluate and adopt quantum solutions. You will gain hands-on experience with the enterprise sales lifecycle and strategic business initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support business development by researching accounts, identifying stakeholders, and conducting client outreach.
- Build industry-specific presentations, executive briefings, and sales materials.
- Coordinate client meetings, workshops, and events.
- Research markets and competitors to find new opportunities for quantum computing adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and client teams, to support engagements.
- Prepare proposals, pricing documents, and contracts.
- Manage Salesforce reports, dashboards, and pipeline analytics.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and support strategic decisions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Salesforce, market research, or business analytics projects.
- Knowledge of quantum computing concepts, IBM Quantum technologies, and Qiskit.
- Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Interest in enterprise sales, business development, and emerging technologies.
