About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on introduction to a sales career within the IT services and consulting industry. You will join the team for the summer of 2027 to build a professional foundation through training, mentorship, and direct collaboration with sales professionals. The program begins with a week of comprehensive training on consultative selling and product knowledge, followed by practical experience connecting with customers.
What you'll do#
- Uncover and qualify leads using phone, email, and social outreach.
- Build sales pipeline through cold calling and social selling techniques.
- Work alongside sales teams to convert leads into a qualified pipeline.
- Develop skills to identify new business opportunities and expansion or upsell prospects.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, demand generation activities, and targets.
- Build industry competence and product knowledge to interact effectively with decision-makers.
- Present a final capstone project at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program as a rising senior.
- Must be returning to your degree program after the internship concludes.
- Strong interest in sales and technology.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Professional Selling, or a sales concentration.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Competitive work ethic and demonstrated resilience.
- Coachable, intellectually curious, and persuasive.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
