SCA Project Manager Intern - OVIP

About the role#

The Sovereign Cloud team builds and operates government, classified, and sovereign cloud regions designed to meet the specific security and compliance requirements of US state and local, civilian, defense, and intelligence community customers. This internship is part of the Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP), which provides transitioning military veterans and active-duty military spouses with hands-on job-skill training and professional development within a corporate environment.

What you'll do#

• Support a team of Product Managers in the conception, design, launch, and go-to-market strategy for government-focused cloud products.
• Gain an understanding of the government customer landscape, market, and competition to drive product adoption.
• Assist in defining products from vision to roadmap and detailed requirements.
• Influence engineering teams to iterate on features necessary for the government market.
• Manage pilot programs and gather continuous customer feedback.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to create product collateral and launch new services.

What you'll need#

• A background in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Data Science.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and a track record of driving results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including engineers, partners, and senior leadership.
• Experience building value propositions and messaging for customers and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud platform technologies and their application to real-world problems is desired.
• Previous experience as a project manager or in a technical leadership role with a cloud platform technology provider is preferred.
• Preference is given to US veterans transitioning from active service or military spouses new to the corporate sector.

• Location: Seattle, Washington.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
• Compensation: $30 per hour.
