About the role#
The Retail Sales Support Internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in business analytics, sales strategy, and retail banking operations. You will join the Branch Administration team to analyze performance, support strategic initiatives, and track business metrics. Interns are active contributors who work alongside banking leaders to help drive results across the organization. This position is designed to help you build career-ready skills in a professional banking environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the Retail Performance Analytics Manager and Retail Sales Analyst with data retrieval, research, data entry, and analysis.
- Collaborate with leadership in testing and evaluating new core system reporting and performance tools.
- Process department invoices and provide administrative support.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Branch Sales Reports for district meetings.
- Coordinate orders for personalized branch-related supplies.
- Manage the Customer Experience database by distributing and monitoring cases for resolution.
- Assist with Sales and Customer Experience campaign reporting and performance updates.
- Communicate best practices and insights gathered from business inputs.
- Support reporting and analysis for customer survey programs, including competitive research.
- Validate new Business Intelligence reports against legacy systems to ensure accuracy.
- Create presentation materials, charts, dashboards, and reporting summaries.
- Assist in the consolidation and preparation of quarterly retail incentive reporting.
- Participate in collaborative summer projects with other interns.
What you'll need#
- Strong Excel skills, as this is the primary tool for the role.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Intermediate PowerPoint skills are preferred.
