About the role#
This summer internship offers a hands-on introduction to a professional sales career. You will join the team for a full-time, on-site experience in Austin, Texas. The program includes a week of initial training to build your knowledge of Oracle solutions and consultative selling skills. You will work alongside experienced sales professionals and a peer mentor to develop your professional foundation.
What you'll do#
- Build a sales pipeline using cold calling and social selling methods.
- Uncover and qualify leads through phone, email, and social outreach.
- Develop skills to identify new business opportunities and expansion prospects.
- Build industry competence and product knowledge to interact with decision-makers.
- Collaborate with the sales team on go-to-market strategies and demand generation.
- Present a final capstone project to conclude your internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program as a rising senior.
- Must be returning to your degree program after the internship ends.
- Strong interest in sales and technology.
- Business Administration, Professional Selling, or Sales Concentration majors are preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competitive nature with a strong work ethic and demonstrated resilience.
- Coachable, intellectually curious, persuasive, and professional.
