About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on introduction to a sales career within the IT services and consulting industry. You will join the team for a summer term, gaining experience through a mix of classroom training and on-the-job learning. This position is based on-site in Denver, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Build a sales pipeline using cold calling and social selling techniques.
- Uncover and qualify leads through phone, email, and social outreach.
- Develop a foundation of industry competence, product knowledge, and sales methodology.
- Collaborate with the sales team on go-to-market strategies and demand generation activities.
- Identify and qualify new business, expansion, and upsell opportunities.
- Present a final capstone project to conclude your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program as a rising senior, with plans to return to your program after the internship.
- A strong interest in sales and technology.
- Preference for majors in Business Administration, Professional Selling, or a sales concentration.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Personal traits including resilience, intellectual curiosity, and a competitive work ethic.
- Professionalism and the ability to be coached.
