About the role#
We are looking for an Engineering Intern to join our plant in Brea, California. This role focuses on quality initiatives and supports our engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. You will work on-site to improve safety through process control and specific improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Drive integration actions and solve problems to reduce rejections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet department goals.
- Work with the hourly workforce to identify safety risks and develop solutions.
- Complete projects under the direction of the engineering and quality teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Completion of at least sophomore-level coursework.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proof of active student status.
- Previous internship, work, or research experience is a plus.
