About the role#
This internship at Howmet Aerospace focuses on document control and process standardization. You will support the team by identifying inconsistencies in internal process documents and ensuring they align with corporate standards and supplier specifications. This role produces a database of identified gaps and updated procedural documentation.
What you'll do#
- Research and map variations or inconsistencies in internal process documents, including procedures, supplier sheets, and manuals.
- Identify gaps between current practices and corporate or supplier standards.
- Update and harmonize documentation.
- Create a database of gaps and finalize updated procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program, specifically in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential documents with professionalism.
- Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Office and electronic file management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
