    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship for the summer of 2027. You will join the Instrumentation and Monitoring Systems team to help develop technical products and systems. You will report to the Instrumentation and Monitoring Systems Manager. There are opportunities to travel to customer and supplier sites, both domestically and internationally.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the development of system and hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control systems.
    • Create hardware design documentation, including cable and wiring schematics, cabinet layout drawings, and PCB layouts.
    • Prepare documentation for procurement and manufacturing.
    • Help resolve technical issues, including those related to component obsolescence.
    • Develop test procedures and execute functional tests.
    • Assist customers with installation and emergent technical issues.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
    • You must have completed your sophomore year of college.

    Location & details#

    • This position is based in either Warrendale, PA or New Stanton, PA.
    • The role is hybrid.
    • The internship runs from May to August 2027.
    • The pay range is $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on your skills and experience.
