About the role#
As an Operations Intern at DUAL North America, you will gain hands-on experience in how a growing insurance organization functions. This role is designed for students who want to see how business operations work behind the scenes, from document management to process improvement and technology support. You will join our team for the summer of 2027 to work on real projects that support our underwriting and operations departments.
What you'll do#
- Learn how we partner with producers and assist with the collection, organization, and review of business documents.
- Build reports, dashboards, and operational metrics to help teams track trends and workflow opportunities.
- Partner with underwriting and operations staff on daily projects, research, and follow-up activities.
- Contribute to process improvement and technology initiatives, including updates to Salesforce, documentation, and user support.
- Participate in team meetings, ask questions, share your ideas, and take on additional projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, specifically in Business Administration or a related field.
- You are on track to graduate between December 2027 and May 2028.
- You are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- You can organize and prioritize tasks while maintaining high attention to detail.
- You communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with others.
- You take ownership of your tasks, ask questions when needed, and follow through on commitments.
- You are able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in San Diego, California.
- The term for this role is Summer 2027.
