About the role#
The Public Equities team at HOOPP manages research and investment decisions for our portfolios. As an Investment Analyst intern, you will produce research inputs and improve the efficiency of our valuation processes. This role requires strong time management to balance requests from multiple team members.
What you'll do#
- Keep company records current by incorporating recent financial results, filings, research, and market developments.
- Update industry assessments, including comparative data sheets and sector-level analyses.
- Improve team efficiency by refining existing valuation workflows.
- Assist with trading-related operational tasks and contribute to risk reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Math, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Programming ability in at least one language.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine interest in investing and capital markets.
- A consistent record of excellence in your studies and other areas.
