About the role#
The Investment Talent Program offers students and young professionals the chance to join teams managing over $120 billion in assets. You will work within the Front Office or Middle Office to support investment activities, gain exposure to global markets, and contribute to the management of diversified portfolios.
What you'll do#
- Conduct security, sector, and asset class analyses.
- Participate in the management of diversified portfolios, including private debt, fixed income, equity, and infrastructure.
- Develop and program valuation, optimization, and simulation models.
- Analyze the performance of investment mandates.
- Contribute to the identification, assessment, and modeling of investment risks.
- Participate in securities valuation and reporting processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Economics, or Actuarial Science.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced level of English proficiency to support global stakeholders and clients.
- Analytical rigor and critical thinking skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of R, Python, or SQL and progress toward professional designations like CFA, CIPM, or FRM are considered assets.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position with a hiring range of $23.50 to $36.50 CAD per hour.
- The role operates on a hybrid basis.
- Locations include Quebec, Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto.
- Hiring is conducted on a rolling basis.
