About the role#
BMO is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst for a Winter 2027 internship in Toronto. This program offers hands-on experience within a specific product or industry group. You will participate in a one-week training and orientation period. Throughout the term, you will have access to networking events, learning seminars, and mentorship to support your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Run valuation analyses and perform complex financial modeling.
- Conduct research on various industries and companies.
- Create client presentations and write internal and external marketing memoranda.
- Support client relationships and business development tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, with a preference for majors in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- A strong academic record and demonstrated interest in finance.
- Excellent analytical skills covering business, financial, and credit areas.
- Ability to manage and assess multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment.
