About the role#
As an Investment Analyst Intern, you will work with an investment team that manages over $5 billion in assets. You will assist with business analytics, industry research, financial analysis, and presentation preparation for private equity investments. This role is based at our headquarters in Alden, Iowa.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources.
- Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Support the team with data projects and initiatives.
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to the executive team.
- Collaborate with support departments to identify their data needs and provide solutions.
- Deliver a final presentation to management summarizing your experiences, results, and accomplishments.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a Sophomore or Junior pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, with solid written and verbal communication skills.
